Posted on 04/26/2021

Dear Families:

I wanted to invite you one last time to take a survey that will help identify strengths and weaknesses in our District. We have partnered with the University of Rochester’s Warner School of Education to create a Strategic Plan that will guide the district’s work in the years to come. The survey – check your email for access to it – is a critical part of that process. The deadline is Wednesday, April 28th.

We also would love for you to join one of our Focus Groups on Tuesday, May 4th. UR officials will conduct one-hour meetings via Zoom or in person at our District Office. These are interactive, questions-and-answer sessions. Information collected is confidential, but please note, you would be speaking in front of a small group. See more details below.

May 4th Focus Group meeting details

  • Times: 5:30 p.m. OR 7:30 p.m. (each meeting is one hour)
  • Register: By emailing
  • Which one? Indicate which time slot and whether you prefer to attend via Zoom or in-person.
  • Video to learn more: Click to watch.

For end-of-the-year events at IHS, such as prom, ball and graduation, part of the NYS requirements are that attendees provide proof of a recent negative COVID-19 test OR proof of vaccination. In light of this, students who are 16 or older may consider getting a COVID-19 vaccination shot. To find out more or to schedule one, go to the vaccination section of the Monroe County Dept. of Public Health website at THIS LINK.

In preparation for our Phased Reopening, K-6 parents/guardians should take a minute to review their children’s bus/transportation details for any changes via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. The updated information will be available by Wednesday, April 28th. In some cases, there may not be any changes, but please check before Friday, April 30th.

Call (585) 336-2992 with transportation questions. CLICK HERE to access the portal. Need Portal help? Email a data team member below:
