Flagpole to Honor Veterans

July 16, 2009
The installation of the IHS flagpole is complete. Freedom Flag Company, a local company owned by IHS graduate ('60) and Vietnam Veteran, Richard Burgey oversaw the installation.

June 30, 2009

You may have noticed a lot of activity and orange fencing at the main entrance to Irondequoit High School on Cooper Road. District workers are installing a 35 foot flagpole; construction will be completed in July. In the fall, the flagpole will be dedicated to all of the West Irondequoit students who have served in the military.
