Dake Geography Bee, 2008-2009

Congratulations to all who participated in the 21st Annual Dake Geography Bee! A total of 16 students participated in this event. The Championship Round was held December 4 and all who participated were true champions and should be proud. Our finalists were:

Matt Bartlow – Grade 7

Brandon Davis – Grade 8

Zach Hardmeyer – Grade 8

Robb LoCurto – Grade 8

Julia Magee – Grade 7

Patrick Suter – Grade 8

Clara Wagner – Grade 7

Our 3^rd place winner was Evan Behr from Grade 7,

our 2^nd place winner was Matt Herbrand from Grade 8

and our School Champion for this year is Jackson Willis from Grade 8

Jackson will now take a qualifying exam to see if he will be selected for the New York State Final Competition in Albany this spring!

Many thanks to our Dake PTSA who so generously paid for our school's registration fee and provided funding for the prizes for this event!
