West Irondequoit Named One of Best for Music Education in America

The North American Music Merchants Foundation has announced the annual list of communities deemed Best for Music in Education America and for the eighth time in ten years, West Irondequoit is on the list. Districts are chosen for their "strong comprehensive music programs."

The West Irondequoit Central School District's music program spans from kindergarten through grade twelve.  It encompasses General Music for students in grades K-8; Instrumental Music, String Music, and Vocal Music for students in grades 4-12; and Advanced Placement Music for high school students.
