The West Irondequoit Central School District features ten outstanding schools which enjoy a statewide and national reputation for excellence. K-3 students flourish in our six neighborhood schools, where they receive individualized attention in a close-knit environment. Our two middle schools (grades 4-6) introduce students to a larger experience, while still offering the support needed for each student to succeed. At the 7-8 level, students enjoy a wide array of course offerings in addition to focused, integrated core courses. Irondequoit High School offers a comprehensive program of offerings, including our highly acclaimed Advanced Placement program, Project Lead The Way and instruction in five foreign languages.

Due to the recent weather challenges and resulting “snow days,” we have received questions regarding make-up requirements. Because West Irondequoit is unique in that we do not schedule as many Superintendent Days as most districts do, we do not need to make up any missed student days at this time.
